Alexander Thin

A graduate of the Camborne School of Mines in the UK, Alex has over twenty-three years experience in production, consulting and the corporate environment within the mining industry.  His career has taken him across the world in an operational, technical, consulting and corporate capacity.  Having started his career in South Africa working in both underground and open pit gold and platinum mines, Alex moved into consulting which involved working on projects in Africa, Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and the former Soviet Union.

Alex also has extensive experience in both Australia and Asia Pacific, including Fiji and Papua New Guinea, where his roles have included operational, exploration and corporate.
